How to make a Ford Mustang V6 fast. Price isnt the factor.?

I have a 2000 Mustang V6 Automatic with flowmaster 40's. I know automatics arent the way to go if you want a really fast car with aggresive shifts but its too late now. Already paid for. So if i were to want to make my car super fast with lots of horse power what would be my options? Even if it meant dropping a new block in it. I just want to be aware of my options, how effective they are and a rough estimate on how much those parts cost. I obviously dont know too much about cars but hoping to learn more. Thanks
