how to make a cake while camping?

My family is going camping and my brother is having his birthday. we wont be able to bring a cake from home because it will get old. Does anyone have any good recipes for making a cake while camping?
 
can't bake a cake cause baking requires precise heat.

cobbler is easy enough though, empty a can of peaches (apples, cherries whatever you like) into your dutch oven, cover with a yellow or white cake mix, cut a stick of butter up and spread it over the cake mix, settle it down into a big pile of hot coals, pile come coals on top of the dutch oven, let it cook for 45 minutes or so.

make it even better, pour a half can of coke or cherry coke or DP over the top of the cake mix. a little bit of cinnamon over the top is good, too.
