how to make a 1200w sound system sound good in a 97 chrysler concorde?

i have a 97 chrysler concorde n a 1200w song xplod sound system which includes 2 12"s and a 1200w amp. When i turn it on with the trunk open it sounds excellent, but when it is closed, you cant really hear or feel? What should I do
 
I had a Chrysler LHS with the same problem. Instead of some crazy "Pimp My Ride" idea, I simply replaced the back stock 6x9's with kicker 6.5 inch round speakers. i simply used a small strip of metal to hold it in place. Plus the speaker grills, covered up my little secret. I still had a good rear fill and a lot more bass came through from the trunk. I hope this helps. Good Luck
