How to maintain an 05' Honda TRX250EX?

Just like it sounds. Im pretty okay with working on stuff, i just need experience! I just got the bike a few months ago and dont wanna kill it prematurely. Anyone got a link or a few pearls of wisdom they could share on how to keep this thing working? Obviously keep the filter clean, change the oil, and hose it off after muddin'. But what else?

Pretty much what you mentioned.

I wouldn't worry too much about your air filter, I never touch mine and I'm on a YZ125 race bike and haven't had any problems.

Change your oil every 4 rides
Lube you chain every 2 - 3 rides

Don't go overboard on mudding, you don't want that in your engine.

Wash it after every ride
