how to lower a sentence about court case?

my husband 4 yrs ago went to prison did 3 months then he came out not guilty. now for a diffrent case he pleaded guilty do u think the 3 months he did 4 years ago could they take that away from this case now
 
if you attended a college for 3 months but dint pass any course and then shifted to another college will they lower your college life by 3 years!! no they wont and also court will not do that to your husband either!! two different cases are two different entity! and therefore it really doesnt matter what happened to the other case
