How to lock/unlock doors in a Mazda 3 w/o remote?

Huh, have you ever seen a car without power locks? Power locks are an option and I would say the rental company bought a budget car. Use the key to lock and unlock the doors.
 
My fiance has a 2010 Mazda 3 as a rental car, and Enterprise didn't give us a remote to lock and unlock the car. We can't find a button to lock and unlock anywhere in the car, so he has to manually reach over and unlock all the doors when he gets in. Am I missing something?
