How to Lay Ceramic Tile?

I am wanting to remove my vinyl flooring in the bathroom and replace it with Ceramic tile. I am actually installing a new toilet, bath, and vanity area. My vinyl flooring is dark colored in certain spots around the toilet and I believe it to be from leaking. I am wanting to know the proper steps to follow when installing the ceramic tile. Thanks
