I have a list of books that I plan to read, only there are more than thirty! And many of them aren't in any libraries near me so I have to buy them. Whenever I get one I add about three more to my list. It's extremely frustrating. Any advice is welcome.
Thanks.

Log onto ABEbooks - you can get them 2nd hand at good prices. Its often not much more expensive than a journey to a distant library.

You can use the wish list at Amazon or many other websites that sell books, to keep track of which ones you want to read or buy. When you buy one, take it off your list. You don't have to buy them at Amazon, just use that feature to keep track of them for yourself.

keep reading them all, reading is good :)
and maye keep track of which ones you want to read NEXT and have a little timeline of that.

I agree with Hart. I have hundreds of books saved on my Amazon.com Wish List. You don't have to pay to be an Amazon.com member and you don't have to buy the books from them either. It's all free.

You can have up to five Wish Lists and there's no limit to how many books you can save in each list. You can title the lists and there's even a blank box next to each book where you can write your own personal notes. It makes life very easy.

You should organise your list so that the books you want to read the most are at the top of your list, that way it'll be easier for you to go and get the book you desire most.

And of course, get a big bookshelf. Otherwise you'll run out of book space quick. (I know from experience).

:)

Don't have to buy: you can order them from library. Ask local library for "inter library loan" slip.

If you want to buy go to library booksales: booksalesfinder.com.

Do you have a word processor. I have typed a list of my books [a separate page/s for each category like ["French", "Greek", etc.] In case I lose a book and need to reorder or buy it again, I type the publisher, date and ISBN [or Library of congress] number.
