How to keep friends while changing schools?

So hi guys! The thing is, i've switched schools. It was my choice. The two school are kind of rivals and they compete but i mean lots of students are friends from the 2 schools. Anyway, in this new school I'm much happier, I have new friends that are much closer to me than the friends i had last year. I'm happier, even though my grades arent getting any better. But the thing is, I'm noticing how my old friends from the other school are getting on so well. They moved on completely from me. They don't need me any more. I'm just one person to them but i lost all of them. I just don't know how to cope with it. I know i made the choice, and i AM happie, but i still want them in my life. I talk to them but they just humour me trying to seem interested but i can tell they're not. I try talking to them but i run out of things to say. I can't meet up with them cos they wouldnt want to and it would be awkward anw...
