How do you judge when to stay in a relationship or leave? My boyfriend is my best friend but there have been oh-so-many times that I have relied on him that he has let me down and blamed it on me "being a woman". I am normally a strong woman who speaks my mind. He fell in love with me because I am "fiesty", now I feel subservient and a joke to him.
While "talk to him about it" may be your answer about this problem (and usually is mine), this is like racism... just something he has that I have to choose to live with or leave.
I am 32. Not looking for marriage but more of a long-term companion. Why is it so hard to find someone compatible?
