I have an iPhone 3GS old bootrom but MC model, i have jb my 3GS in 3.1.2 and 3.1.3, but every time i restore from backup in Rock (or RockApp) and Soft Restart or Reboot it get stuck on the Apple logo, white lines appear, and turns off and tries again (if I didn't stop it it would go on forever). I have used various methods of iRecovery on this problem without success. I have tried tethered and untethered jailbreaks (Pwnage Tool, Sn0wbreeze, blackra1n, redsn0w) with same results. Tried restoring as a new phone and it still happened. I'm suspicious that is a file I downloaded [once I downloaded two files (apt 0.7 strict, and OpenSSL) and got stuck at Apple boot logo].
Please help i'm really desperate and frustrated, and want it jailbroken mainly for tethering. Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I have a Mac (preferable) and have access to a PC so everybody can help!
