Ok guys, I own a non jail break iphone 3gs with ATT for 2 years now and just bought a Iphone 4 and wanted to jailbreak my old iphone 3gs so I can give to a friend. The firmware on the 3gs is very old 3.13 and seems like the correct way is to upgrade to 4.33 and then jailbreak it. But is that the correct procedure? I found a 4.33 ipsw file on the internet but Itune 10 keeps giving me error (3194) when I try to upgrade the 3gs to 4.33 using Itune. Should I use some other software to do it? Or is there a better approach? Please be as detailed as you can as I am new at this. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day.
