How to install Pantech Jest?

I just got a new phone (Pantech Jest) the model is TXT8040. I pug the phone up to the computer with the USB cord and because I was going to put music on the phone but when I had to install it, it said software not found.... Do I need to install a driver for the phone or wat? If so where can I find the driver at? Im using windows XP if that helps or anybody needs to know that
