How to install adobe flash player? The latest?

If i want to watch a video on youtube or any other kind of video, it all ways says you need to download the latest flash player. So it says download and i press it. Than i on the page where it shows how to download it. There is a button which says download i click on it and it says click golden bar on top of the page. I click it than its says install i click that, but than it just goes back to the home page never letting me actually downloading it.
