How to improve the games in PC?

Hi.. I'm having a Intel (P) 4 & 512 RAM & processor 3.. It dose'nt support any games like Rainbow Six Vegas, GTA San andreas, Far Cry, Etc.. I like to Updated my Hardware but don't know config of video card,etc.. Is there any way to know about these.. Is there any other way to play these games.... Is there any website to download the games for free like role playing games or like the above games........
