How to improve my art book's layout?

My art book seems to look a bit boring and and the quality is not so good.
I am just wondering if anyone know how to improve the visuals look of the pages.
The art book needs to have a lot of drawings, research, annotations and a good presentation so it looks interesting.
Can anyone show me some art book pages with a lot of research, generating ideas, and development please.
