ok so i need to impress some judges at piano camp in order to be in a good group. obviously i know i have to play well duh! but i was wondering what else i could do to stand out a little. ive come up with the ideas to wear nice clothes(not trashy!) and speak to them in a respectful manner. any other ideas?
im 14 if that matters

i think those are wonderful strategies.
you pretty much answered your question, be respectful, play well, look respectful. also, dont be cocky, just be confident. i dont think there is much else you can do :D good luck!

Just watch a few court tv shows and you'll learn from a lot of people's dumb mistakes.

Now I know you are not going to see a REAL judge but these people are going to judge you.

Don't chew gum
Don't fiddle with your clothes
Talk honestly and clear
Don't look around the room but at the judges
Don't say "um" or anything like that
Stand still and don't wiggle a lot
Don't brag about yourself either.
Talk about your hopes and dreams
Talk about why you want to go to piano camp and what you hope to get from it

That's all I can really think of at the moment.

When you walk in the room, smile and say, "nice to meet you."
sit down on the bench and play your song. after it's done say, "thank you for your time"

Look them in the eyes and speak loud and clear.
