how to import/ copy songs from one ipod to another ipod?

i have 2 ipod in my my place, i got the 2nd one as a present all i want to know is how to transfer those songs from my previous ipod to the new ipod? i tried highlighting all of them and dragging them from the old to the new ipod but that doesnt work. here is what i wanted to do
