uninstall? okay, so a while back I installed .net framework 4.0 and this morning I decided to uninstall it and use 3.5 sp1 instead. so I uninstalled both 4.0 programs (I think they were .net framework 4.0 client and extended or something like that) and restarted my pc. when it booted back up it got as far as the start up screen with the windows logo and then gave me a blue screen error. so I restarted into system recovery and tried automatic startup repair. it scanned and then attempted to fix but said it was unable to. so I restarted into system recovery again and restored it to yesterday before I uninstalled it. the restore worked perfectly but when I restarted again I still got the blue screen error. I have acsess to safe mode but I still get a blue screen when I boot into it. luckily I have a dual boot with xp ( which still works). do any of you know how to fix this?
