How to I fix a chain on a dirt bike?

Ok I was riding on just some flat land and my chain completely fell off the part where you put it in your engine. (Where the sprockets are that are in your engine) Problem is, I can't put it back on because the engine guard is blocking it. Does anyone know how I can get it on? I tryed removing some of the bolts from the engine but I couldn't pull it out. Please help I wanna ride xD
