How To: HTC Hero Flash to Cricket with Talk, Text, Wap and MMS

Theres a solution to all your problems that was posted a few pages ago.
ROOT; DC v1.0; APN BU&Restore; autostart apps fix... Gets you MMS/web/& apps.
If all else fails, try that. 90% sure it'll work for everyone.

ok well i cant try to produce a fix at the moment, it looks like im being blocked from sending MMS, just restored a nandroid backup, as well as flashed and did the origonal tutorial by brandon and i keep getting service denied when sending, so it appears cricket is activly blocking MMS on my account, and my billing date was yesterday, and my phone is listed as customer property.

gotta see now what i can do to get this fixed.

Well here's a little piece of info ...

When trying to send an MMS the stock HTC app responds with Sending Address Unresolved.

As for your dilema ... that happend to me a few days ago. I had to call my dealer (non-corporate store) and they fixed it. Be careful though ... they might try to charge you the $15.00 even though you did not change it.

ok new flash here
download the zip
extract it and read the readme

this is my last flash, verified by me that it works

if you have issues sending MMS and get a "Service Denied" make sure to give your MMS message a subject

i start the MMS, choose the person, enter some text, then click the menu button and choose attatch, works 100%, tested 20x picture messages.

if for any reason the MMS still does not work for some there is a web only flash that will just do the web portion, then you can work out the MMS portion separately.

Enjoy

Damn nice *** work people! That works great your iptables rules even make my connection faster on 3G I hit over 700kbps for the first time. Damn makes this awesome.

Well my Hero doesn't want to cooperate on the MMS so I don't know what else to do.

Sigh .... now I get Transient Failure so I guess that's it for me.

Hope it works for everyone else.
