How to hook up subs in an aftermarket stereo?

I currently installed a JVC stereo in my accord using a harness adapter to keep the stock head unit. Since da 05 accords head unit is integrated with the ac controls, i got the lower dash adapter. Now i decided to add a subwoofer but not sure how to connect it. Do i simply use the Line-in connectors in the back of the aftermarket stereo? I also heard that i could use the existing speaker harness in the rear to connect da subs but wouldn't i need another harness adapter? Please help direct to best website or instruction pix on da installation. Thank you.
 
I would roll with the line outs on your after market deck...that would be the easiest....trying to hook em up the other way you mentioned is a pain and you are just asking for trouble splicing your stock wiring.....
 
in order to install a subwoofer u will need to also install an amplifier if ur goin to do that just go to any walmart and buy a "amplifier wiring kit" which goes for about $40 and it will have all the wires and extra things u will need and also step by step instructions on how to wire it all up.
