How to hook up my 230 Plantronics bluetooth headset?

I had my headset hooked up to a samsung phone identical to the one i have now. I lost the other phone and the headset was hooked up to it. Is it possible to hook it up to the phone i have now? Ive tried to search for it but it says that it hasnt found any devices when the headset is right by my phone and turned on. can someone please tell me what to do to get it to work??

PLEASE HELP!!!
