OK.i have a speaker...aiwa model sx-m200. its a small speaker..from their elegant type office line of stereos....
there is a sub built inside the speaker.( a small one)..and i want to hook it up to my car deck.
the problem is the low freq wires for the built in sub have a rca jack type end.
so..the back of the speaker has a wire with a pos.and a neg..for the regular mids/tweets or whatever, and also another wire with the rca end which is to power the sub built in.
do i plug this into the sub out on the deck? remember, this is just a small speaker...not made for big bass..but anything is better than my stock speakers...
or do i cut off the rca jack and use the wires like i would any other?..the rca wire from the speaker is for low freq.impendance 6 ohm...and the regualr wires are 16 ohm.
if anyone does not understand what im asking, please dont answer...
any one who can help..thank you very much for your time.
