how to hook up a bass speaker to a panasonic home stereo? help?

ok so i had an x rocker gaming chair and i used it for music because it has like a mini woofer in it. so i tore up the chair got the speaker out and all that stuff. im wondering if i can hook that speaker up to my home stereo to give it some bass. the wire on the bass speaker had a white square thing on the end and there is nothing for that on my stereo. so is there anything i can possibly do without spending much money? help
