How to home school in michigan?

Okay I am going to be in 10th grade and don't want to go back to public schools. They don't clean the class rooms (it is up to the teacher if he or she wants to clean because they don't get paid to do it) and the bathrooms get cleaned once a month. I have a low immune system and I'm getting sick in this situation faster then the other kids do meaning I missed 1 or 2 days a week getting sick. So my mom wants to home-school me.... well how do I do homeschooling? We tried talking to my school they would not give us much Information but they would say "it takes Always from the school if I am home-schooled and their school can not loose that money". Well I got 6 credits up from last year my mom can't afford the online schooling ( none public online schools free in Michigan )how can I do free homeschooling? I have a lot of "Standard Deviants" videos and text books do I need a certified teacher? I am 15 years old can I do some kind of independent study of some sort and still take a test to get my diploma? Please help? Give me as much Information as you can!! What are all the steps? Please just explain don't just leave links! Thanks!
