How to hold your air intake in place on a 1999 dodge stratus?

Okay so i have a stock 1999 dodge stratus 2.4L. I love it very much so please hold the negative comments. Anyways i just got in my secret weapon r air intake and installed it and it fits nice. only have 2 questions about it though. So i installed it correctly as i followed the instructions and have some previous experience. anyways after putting it all together and being pleased with the sound and performance im getting more and more worried about the way it sits under the hood. so it fit and is clear from the hood but the filter is laying a little bit on the frame where the old casing for the old filter was. (the little box that holds the stock intakes filters.) now this part doesnt really get too hot so im sure it will be fine but i wonder if any of you have any suggestions on how to prevent any future issue this may cause. Also it came with a bracket thing that has a hook on the end and i know is supposed to go under a clampand mounted somewhere but im not sure where. also the intake is all sealed up and good but its wiggly because it isnt supported by anything. also the instructions were confusing as they said to put the u shape end under the bracket closest to the filter. (understood) now add the rubber piece. (Where?) and bend the bracket and apply the bolt (wtf i give up). Thanks in advance for your answers.
