How to help my alcoholic brother?

My brother is an alcoholic, he disappears for weeks at a time, we know he's drinking....he's had 3 DUIs, served 6 months in prison...after prison he cleaned up for a few months and now he's back at it again. He can't hold a job.
My parents have tried everything, nothing works. People say let him hit rock bottom, but I think he has already (prison, no money) and although he improves for a while, he always turns to alcohol.

Do I leave it alone? what do I do??? He's been to AA as ordered by a judge, didn't help.
 
Yes, leave it alone. He has not hit rock bottom yet, if he had, he would try to help himself. It is a very hard thing to do, but you have to leave it alone. Have you been to counseling yourself? If not, it can help you considerably.
