Okay I've been trying to get a title for this car for ever, I live in ks but the last place the car was registered in was az. Since it was never registered in ks, they are of zero help. I know I could get a bonded title but they estimate about 1,500 for just the court fees not including an atturney. The car is not worth that much lol. Kansas dosent have a builders title and to do a mechanics lein on it you have to be the original title owner and that guy died a while back.I bought it from his neice who didn't have the title or knew it whereabouts. She is not his poa either. No one is. I've heard you could do something like put an ad in the paper for x amount of time and if no one claims it then its cleared? I was also thinking about going to the junk yard and maybe paying them to get a salvaged title for it but I'm not sure if that's even legal. If anyone could help id really appriciate it. This car is special, its a z car and I've always wanted one, is it doomed to rust away or be parted out? Plz help if you can!!!!
