M Marco New member Sep 17, 2009 #1 My friend borrowed my cake container, and used it to hold nuoc mam, and now it smells rancid. I tried washing it out with soap, but that didn't help. I soaked it in vinegar for hours, but it still smells. Should I try bleaching it?
