I am from California and I recieved a point 6 moving violation in satet of NY in sept 2008. I paid the initial penalty of 200 bucks but then i recieved additional penalty of $300 as i had point 6 violation. Failure of paying the additional fine was that my NY licence will be suspended but i had california license. I decided not to pay. It now shows up on my driving history and results in additional car insurance payments.
