My grandma just got a new phone, and she has no idea how to do all of this, so it's left up to me. Her old phone, the Motorola VU204 has pictures of my late grandfather on it, so she'd like to get them onto her new phone, the Samsung Gusto. Both phones are on the verizon network, so I hope this doesn't screw anything up. I'm running on Windows XP, which automatically recognizes the Motorola phone, but it's CHARGING, not letting me access the data. It doesn't even show the phone under My Computer - so what do I do? Are there drivers I need to download? Could anyone point me to those? Preferably FREE, because she could just take the phones to Verizon and they'll do it - but she's trying to avoid that trip to town.
Also, she wants to get a ringtone on her new phone, will I be able to do that? Or will Verizon completely block that?
