How to get out of the Private garden in Oblivion Game of the Year Shivering Isle?

I am in the Shivering Isles. I have completed all of the quests up to The Helpless Army (part of the main quest for the Isles). I was running around looking for Flawless Pearls when I came across this dungeon - Xirethard, went in followed it all the way to a "Private garden" (turns out it is Syl's escape route - from researching how to get out of here). I don't have the key and The doors cannot be picked and I also cannot figure out how to activate the statue of Sheogorath to leave the way I came in...HELP
PS It is for the XBOX 360 Elite
