I have been on prevacid for a year now. I must say these meRAB worked miracles for me, because last year at this time i could hardly eat anything i was always suffering of pain, severe gas, constant burping. I now feel much better. I have done endoscopy and colonoscopy and i thank God that all results were normal except for h.pylori which i got treated for, and that lovely acid reflux that most of us tend to suffer from at one point or another.
I spoke to my gi and told him that i wanted to get off the prevacid now, so, he said i can try. Well i tried and i suffered immediately, the heartburn even when i just had white rice. So i continued to take them, but i would really like to stop them, so what do i do? How do i stop them? Saw on the docotrs yesterday that once you start these meRAB it is really hard to stop well nobody ever told me that. I don't want to be on these forever. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
