We've booked our son into Aus kick. It's a program for young children to pre-pair them for when they start actual games. It's sort of like what cubs is to scouts.

Every week we go through the same old. I don't want to go routine. Normally I would just leave it and not take him because this act is really stubborn and it makes it seem like he hates it. But once he starts he loves it. He spends all week talking about it, but he just seems to forget how much he likes it by the time training day comes around.

I don't know what to do the program didn't cost much so we're not fussed if we wait til next year, but I'm worried he'll take this approach for other things in life and he may never get anywhere.

What do you think we should do?
Oh yeah he's 5.5yrs
I've got 30mins to get him ready.
It's not actual games really it's just learning how to kick and socialising out of school.
Oh My God we have had a pool for years and he hates them he won't even go in the fenced area. It is so stressful for him to go near the pool. He loves the bath but pool noway.
But he loves it when he plays. He just seems to kick up a fuss before hand. Then for days afterwards he can't stop talking about how much fun he had. I wouldn't make him go if he didn't light up after five mins playing.
