Ok so I wrote my first book and I'm wondering...
Writers used to wait around for a publishing company to be interested in their story, and get all excited when a publisher liked their story and wanted to publish it. Is it still like that? And if so, what do I need to do to get noticed like that? Write to different publishers? With my "entire story"? And where would I find these publishers? How do I know which ones are the right one? Or the good ones?
I created an account with Lulu.com, and I was going to go with them, but is that all I need? Will they contact all these publishers "for me"? Or is that just for "printing" my book and an ISBN?
