I just got new laptop so im new to this whole wireless sharing thing

My laptop is running windows 7 64-bit (i think thats how it works for win7)
and my desktop (which im trying to access the music from) is running Vista 64-bit
The folder with the music i am trying to get to work in the remote library is on a external hard-drive attached to the desktop

I found out that i can share my music files and have them show up right onto my laptop in the windows media player the only problem is that it has like 2 songs (which are in public music folder, the default player songs) in it and i cannot figure out how to get more files to show up

I went through all the options and im able to share the actual music folder and access it that way but the ease of access when its automatically in the media player is like nothing else, so i am trying to get the music files from the extrenal HD connected to the desktop to show up in the media player through the remote library on my laptop

If you could tell me how id go about doing that, that would be great

thanks, Sam
