i have been biking for quite a long time and a constantly see flyers and posters for races and such at the bike shop, but i do not feel that i am good enough to race and i was considering public bike "rides" to start with. i see that that will probably not get me anywhere professional, but how could i start to get involved? also nobody say that this cannot be a career, because there are hundreds of pro mountain bikers (definetly not as much as road bikers, but there still are a lot). i can truly see myself doing this as a job in 5-10 years, but how do i initiate?
