How to get internet on my iPod Touch 4G!!!!!?

Hey, today I got an iPod Touch 4G, 8 gigabytes of space. I went to my settings, then Wi-Fi, and chose my wireless network. (2WIRE182) I entered the password, and it connected. THen I pressed the home button and went on safari, but it said it couldn't connect to the internet! In the top left corner it says I have 3 bars, and sometimes it oes down to 2 bars, but it shows that I'm connected, please help!!!
