How to get flexible for dance tryouts?

I have Dance Team (Poms) tryouts for my school in about 3 weeks, and I NEED to become more flexible in my splits, leaps, and kicks. What's the best, most effective way to do this? I don't have my splits down yet, by the way. Also any other general tips for tryouts (maybe turns?) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
