Depending on what state you live in, you could do an online degree through a local community college.
For Example:
I am currently enrolled in ECTC which is an accredited community college in my area. All of my classes are offered online through a web based program that lets me enroll in classes offered online through other community colleges in the state of Kentucky (where I live).
Like I said depending on where you live you might be able to do something like this. Go visit a local community college that is close to where you live. Enroll and get their financial aid papers. I have been enrolled in Community College for 3 years now and I have not had to pay for anything. My financial aid pays for everything.
As far as payments, you would have to talk to the Business Office of the college you want to attend. I would reccomend you doing a pure online college because if you ever need help you won't be able to meet someone face-to-face and get the help you will need.
Like I said, go to a local community college and talk to an advisor there. They can set you up with classes and would be able to sit down with you personally to give you the best answers you need. You may be able to do what I am doing now and take all the classes you would need for your degree online through other colleges in your state.
