Ok I've managed to charge up the keyboard, switch it on and pressed the connection button. On the HTC phone I turned on Bluetooth mode, made the phone 'discoverable' and when searching for devices the phone managed to pick up the keyboard. I entered the code '0000' in both the phone and the keyboard and this managed to change the status of the keyboard to 'paired but not connected' (this message is displayed on the screen of the phone.)
I've tried typing something with the keyboard and nothing happens.
BTW the website for the keyboard said HTC is ok and that Android is ok.
