Ok i want to get an iphone but im not eligible for an upgrade. I was wondering since im on a family plan could i add another line and get the iphone an then get my my original line turned off???
You could but you'll pay the early termination fee on the line you turn off. Waiting would be better than way you get a discount, and the iphone will probably have improved and may even be cheaper.
