How to get an authors email?

Well i was reading a book about short stories an author wrote and they were mostly from her life and one of the stories was a series of emails from her and a fan and the fan got her email adress and ive searched up the authors email address and i ccoldnt find anything.

the author is brigid lowry. And the fan who sent her the email was just some fan who didnt know her.
Any help please thanxxxx

Or if theres no email on her website, search her on Facebook & send her a message. Thats what I did the other day when I was looking for an author..
she replied too! just a few hours later. :)
