I consider myself to have severe add /adhd. I can't focus on schoolwork even if i studied for it for more than 15 seconds at a time. Its interfering with my life to where i DREAD going to highschool because its soo hard for me to focus and i get bored easily becAuse of that.
I am afraid she will give ne something weak like wellbutrin to start but i need real medicine now.. I don't know how to approach the psychiatrist without sounding like a druggie but still get to the point that i need adderall now for my dissorder before my grades slip...
My add is also bleeding into other aspects of my mind and is causing depression and ocd. The reason i want adderall specifically is because my brother who is 2 years older than me (im 17) takes it for his add and he says it completely helped him and he feels better now and is doing well in college.
So yeah A) how do i ask the psychiatrist to give me specifically Adderall and b) how do i get diAgnoses with add? Is it an official thing cause me and my mom /brother know i have it severely.
