How to get acrylic paint out of denim?

i just bought these shorts and while i was away at camp i eneded up with red acrylic paint all over them! HELP!
ugh.the scrubbie thing did't work.im tryin hairspray next
 
i heard hair spray works, then put them in the Freezer and then scrape it off, don't hold me to this though ha, because i have never tested it myself.
