I am a graduating senior who is a biology major with a minor in chemistry and business. I am taking four upper level science classes this semester and an elective ... basically I have lab everyday of the week. I am frustrated with parents who do not see how much time I need to put into the day for studying. I get an average of about 4 hours of sleep every night. It may sound funny but really I don't have a life ... I only study it. It is extremely hurtful when all they see me as lazy because all I do is nothing but sitting on my butt all day. They have never been to college much less being familiar with how tough it is to be dedicated to such a difficult major. They don't understand why I have to stay up late or can't leave my room completely spotless. I catch up on sleep between classes and I clean up everything on the weekends. Some may be wondering why I chose to live with my parents instead of by myself ... I live near to the university so I thought it would be best save money staying with them. How can I share with them my disappointment in their lack of support without coming off as ungrateful lazy child?
