I have been mostly a C++ programmer with about 3 years of work experience on windows and console combined. Last year I felt that I need to make my transition towards becoming a .net developer. Although I have been familiar with the C# language ever since college but I learned all about the following on my own during 7 months of studying almost everyday:
ASP.NET,LINQ, WCF, WPF, WF, MSMQ, Enterprise Services, ASP.NET AJAX and MVC
Its been a long journey of about 18xx pages of text and practices. My question is what are my chances of getting a job as a C# programmer in todays market as I see people are hesitant to believe my newly acquired skill set. Also how would it improve my chance if I get a .net developer certification from microsoft?
