I checked out a book from the library, and as soon as I opened it, I noticed that all the pages absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. I talked to the librarians about it but they just said "We can't stop our customers from smoking while they read." I think it's just rude for people to do that.
One of my school teachers told me to sprinkle baking soda between the pages and leave it in a plastic bag overnight. I tried it and it didn't work.
Does anyone have any other ideas to make the book smell better?
