I have a 1999 ford ranger xlt with the 4.0 V6 (the largest one for the ranger), est. 160hp (according to cars.com). It has 3.73 gear ratio and is an automatic.
How much money would it cost be to get it from 160 to 250+?
I am figuring I will need an engine rebuild, but what should i have done to it?
Any thing else I can add or need to know.
I know i seems odd, but I have my reasons.
